Peter Owusu-Ansah is a Deaf visual artist whose artistic practices centres on non-verbal communication and colour theory. Since2009, his Pop art inspired compositions have been informed by his curiosity towards the vast range of digital colouration available through pixilation and the digital realm. Using Photoshop, he creates riveting compositions that not only explore the possibilities of pixelated colouration but are conceptually linked to questions about our humanity. Owusu-Ansah’s works have been shown throughout Canada and are held in private collections in Toronto and New York. He is the recipient of the Murray and Marvelle Koffler Founder’s Award.
