Do you feel aligned with yourself and your daily actions? Is your life truly reflecting your deepest desires? Are you hiding talents or abandoning dreams? I often wondered what my life would have been like if I had never left my dysfunctional family and my hometown.
Developing one’s personality is an act of courage; a conscious choice to freely and unconditionally assert one’s individuality.
From a series produced in 2021, the image offers a contemporary reading on the individuation process. Through a surreal setting that blends reality and imagination, the artist allegorically expresses her personal experience. She uses her medium as art therapy, aiming to spark dialogue about the confusion between our social roles and our true inner selves.
