Christian Fleury is a documentary photographer and filmmaker based in Montreal. His recent work explores the ties between identity and place. Rooted in an urban, artistic, and Québécois life, he is drawn to parallel worlds—experiencing them intimately and sharing their stories in ways that reveal both contrast and shared identity. His photography has appeared in magazines such as Nature Magazine, Harvard Magazine, and Canadian Geographic, and his documentaries have been showcased at festivals across Canada, the U.S., and Europe. He is currently working on a documentary about a small community on the St. Lawrence River, whose rhythm is shaped by tides and seasons.
