The vanishing point is a concept where parallel lines appear to converge as they recede into the distance. It’s not just a key element in visual art, but also a metaphor for life. We are all on a personal journey but we can never fully see our destination.
The blurred edges echo uncertainty and change that can lead us further along or in a different direction. With this, the vanishing point becomes more than just a technique, it begins to symbolize the destination of hopes, ambitions, and our perseverance to see what lies on our path and beyond the visible horizon
What interests me the most in this photo is what people choose to see. Feelings of loneliness and sorrow. Melancholy and curiosity, unsure if one should continue down this path but also wanting to see what’s at the end
