As a photographer and artist, I focus on the relation between light, shapes, structures and colours.
“Besties” is part of my series of clean, vivid, playful studio portraits. Created to celebrate our four legged companions, it is a reminder of the joy, delight and wisdom pets add to our lives. These sessions often resemble a dance between photographer and models. The camera witnesses both sides watching each other to anticipate the next move, always with attention to these deep animal eyes: expressions to get lost in, glances that connect, and calm gazes inviting us to pause and reflect.
